Have Lori write your story or guide you along the way.
Lori has earned 3 university degrees in preparation to write your story.
Since 2011, she has provided literary services for a variety of clients
and written everything from copy and content to book manuscripts and screenplays.
With creativity and technical prowess, Lori crafts well-written,
captivating stories that sweep audiences away
into the special world of the hero's journey.
Let Lori show you the way to make your story happen.
Born and raised in the Canadian prairies, Lori is descended from long lines of ministers and military leaders, including eleven patriots of the American Revolution, and one beloved pacifist. Canadian and American, she grew up visiting grandparents in Puerto Rico before attending boarding school in Massachusetts and college in California.
With her first career as a stay-at-home mom, Lori also always wanted to be a writer, and after finding her grandparents’ letters and logbooks that reveal their epic story, she returned to university and earned her BA in English from University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), in 2011.
She continued with an MFA in Creative Writing, and for her thesis, wrote the manuscript for her debut novel, Finding Fortune. Then through an MA in Film Studies, Lori undertook research for her multigenerational American family saga about the Atomic Age adventures of a scientist and his family, with concentration on the Atomic Age of Film and presenting the pacifist hero.
All about story, Lori writes book manuscripts and screenplay packages, with special interest in the life stories of mavericks, magnates, and millionaires. The chosen one by the living and the dead, she is a voice for others as she writes about unsung heroes. From the war hero to the pacifist hero, she loves them all and lives for the deep dives into genealogy and American history.
Related to Joseph Campbell and descended from writers such as Anne Bradstreet, Richard Henry Dana Jr., and at least four of the Fireside Poets including Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr., John Greenleaf Whittier, and Ralph Waldo Emerson, Lori is fascinated by the beauty of language, the power of story, and the Hero’s Journey.
With a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and a Master of Arts in Film Studies, I have done my homework, honed my skills, and developed my talent to masterfully create your story.
